Aug9 combines open-source software with Singapore data and governed source evidence. This page explains what a source can establish, what it cannot, and what users should verify.

Food-establishment identity and licence evidence. A licence does not by itself prove cuisine, quality, price or current opening hours.

Upcoming event discovery. Aug9 keeps the source URL and treats expired or unverifiable records cautiously.

Links to relevant government information and service entry points. Aug9 is not a government service, and the official page remains authoritative.
Evidence, not implication
A source is used only for the fields it can reasonably support. Missing hours, prices or suitability are not silently inferred.
Freshness is contextual
Weather and events expire quickly; addresses change less often. Aug9 should display source or retrieval context when it matters.
Commercial separation
Organic relevance should remain separate from booking, referral or affiliate availability, with commercial relationships disclosed.
How confidence should be communicated

The relevant facts are supported by current, matching source evidence.
Partial evidence
Some facts are supported, while another important field is missing or older.
Unknown
Aug9 cannot verify the claim and should ask, qualify it or avoid using it to rank.

Aug9 is a public beta. If a source appears outdated, a venue is misidentified or an important limitation is missing, use the feedback control and include the public source URL—never sensitive personal information.
